Feature:
Power Apps Studio’s table designer allows you to conveniently create and edit Dataverse tables within your canvas app, eliminating the need to switch to a separate application. Additionally, you can seamlessly interact with data directly within the table. By using the table designer in Power Apps Studio, you can now create and modify Dataverse tables in canvas apps without leaving the app you’re using. You can also interact with data inside the table.
Steps:
- Open Existing App or Create a New Canvas App in Power App Studio.
- In authoring menu Select Data.
- On Data pane Select Add Data > Create New Table.
- It will pop-up a window. Enter the name for table. In Advance Setting will be able to changes its plural Name.
- When you click on “Create” It will redirect to you table designer page.
- In this window you can create column, create a record, and edit table property.
- You can Edit existing table record by clicking three ellipses (…) > Edit Data.
- It will pop-up the table designer where data will get editable.
- We can remove the Data Source from the App, by clicking on Remove.
Required permissions and limitations: –
- The environment must have a Dataverse configured to create tables.
- For the environment where you want to create a table, you must have system customizer or system administrator access.
- If you switch the environment, then the create new table option will be not visible.
