Restore Deleted Dataverse Records Using Recycle Bin

In Microsoft Dataverse, it’s common for users to delete records or transactions as part of routine business operations. These deletions can occur either manually or through automated processes and may be intentional or accidental. Records can be deleted using various methods such as single selection, multiple selections, or bulk deletion, all of which can lead to important data being permanently removed. Recovering deleted records can be challenging, and in many cases, the data may not be recoverable at all.

To overcome this issue, Dataverse offers a Recycle bin feature. This functionality allows users to recover deleted table records, regardless of how they were deleted—whether through system processes or manual actions. The recycle bin supports data recovery within a configurable time frame, ensuring that deleted records can be restored from both the **user interface (UI)** and programmatically via APIs or SDKs. This provides a reliable safety net for organizations to retrieve critical data in the event of unintended deletions.
